His main expertise is New Product Development (with a business perspective) and Technology Entrepreneurship. He has a passion for the micro world, innovation, Asia and long distance train travelling.

|
|
Edwin Bos studied Mechanical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In 2002 he graduated with credits and started a PhD research on high-accuracy probing systems for MEMS in the group of Prof. Schellekens. During his PhD research, he co-founded Xpress and received multiple awards for his work. He is board member of the Dutch Society for Precision Engineering and chairman of the Young Precision Network.

ir. Jan Tops
Jan Tops is Business Economist with a background in Mechanical Engineering. In 1977 he started work as a business consultant for KPN-Telecom (the main Dutch telecom operator). From 1987 onwards he is the CEO of BDND Business Design & Development.

After a successful career as executive or board member of various multinational companies (such as Stork and Perstorp AB), Jan Westerink acted as investor and CEO of various startups and small companies. He has an outstanding track record in the scientific instruments market.
