Xpress wins grand final of New Venture 2007

In a thrilling final Edwin Bos and Ernst Treffers of Xpress Precision Engineering received the first prize in the most prestigious Dutch competition for high-potential new businesses, New Venture 2007. The jury of the competition valued the business strategy and technological impact of Xpress.

For the final of New Venture 2007, 1200 contestants submitted almost 500 business plans, which were evaluated by a team of over 20 (private) investors, companies and coaches. For the grand final 11 business plans were selected for a 20 minute presentation with questions and a 1 minute sales pitch for a 200 people audience.

The award and prize money was awarded by Victor Muller of Spyker Cars at the 28th of june 2007 in Driebergen, The Netherlands.
