Research & Development Engineer

An opening is available for a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer, with a Master's or PhD in mechanical engineering or physics, for our Dutch office in Eindhoven. An interest in precision machine design and metrology is required as well as a problem solving attitude and good communication skills.

You will work in the Research & Development team at Xpress Precision Engineering, which coordinates and organizes the development and introduction of new probing systems and measurement tools together with local suppliers.

Responsibilities:

	You develop new products for existing and new markets to meet set targets (quality, on time, within cost target, sufficient quantity at launch).
	You define technical specifications (product concept, test specifications, integration) with suppliers and customers.
	You support the launch of new products by providing installation, training and assistance to customers.

	Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical engineering or Physics.
	You have an interest in machine design and metrology.
	You are innovative.
	You describe yourself as a pioneer and independent worker.
	You have good communication skills.
	You have a problem solving attitude.
	You are fluent in English, any other language is an asset.
